Finished projects

We don't work with the large companies directly because we only work on the small parts of the larger projects, usually outsourced to us by some other company. Therefore we can not say "we made a project for Sony/Hitachi/some other big maker", but there are pieces of our software used there as small parts of bigger projects. Also, we don't sell actual devices. Therefore we can only guess how many units were sold and where did they go. And our guess may be wrong sometimes.

Digital tuner testing equipment

This project was finished in about 1 year with our participation from the very beginning. Currently sold and used by leading digital tuner manufacturers.

High resolution (HDTV) screen testing equipment

  • data transfer software design and implementation

Hardware design was pretty much done by the time we were asked for help. User interface and routines for data generation and communication were made from scratch. Currently this equipment is sold and used by several makers.

OLED panel testing equipment

Hardware was done by other guys, we made only end-user software. A few installations were sold, then the project was cancelled because of some reason (unknown to us).

Analog/Digital converter for cable television studios

  • audio compression software implementation (TMS320 DSP)
  • high-speed interrupt-based data exchange routines

Hardware and video compression was done by other people, however there were some problems with audio encoding we had to solve. Product was successfully sold to local cable TV studios.

LCD/OEL panel analysis equipment

  • mechanical/temperature control software design and implementation
  • realtime analysis software design and implementation

Mechanical design was done by other people, we just chose the equipment and made the software to make it all work well together. This system could perform different tests, changing images, temperature and other external conditions while taking data samples with a high-resolution camera to analyse the behaviour of LCD/OEL panel pixels. This equipment was sold and is probably still used by panel manufacturers.

Our main purpose on this project was the implementation of the ASL to let the customer engineers to change any parameters and testing sequence as they like without any programming.
